Disappointing lack of functionality and design

Overall, a very bad user experience. The touch screen isn’t very responsive, the app is in need of as serious update, functionality like scheduling vacations, tracking usage, linking thermostats that are in the same house or area of house (all thinks comparably prices competitors do) are absent. Compared to a dial on a wall, this is an improvement. Compared to other “smart thermostats”, this is a joke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have multiple units in the house - they work great. I find that it's easy to manage temperatures and when attached to WiFi and internet, these are effective tools to control environment. I like the easy to read menus, large print, and multiple color options. Other things to like about the unit - easy to set up programmable environments. We have used ours with internet tools to help us manage how much we are over/under using our HVAC - so, YES, a good thermostat to help save money too!
My hesitancy on a five star rating has more to do with the physical unit that the programming or ability to manage environment. One of our units appears to be harder to "press" to make changes than the others. We are working through the warranty on this unit, so hoping this resolves completely before the warranty runs out.
