This thermostat is PERFECT. It has indoor and outdoor temp and humidity, you can set a schedule, has a beautiful, colorful GUI, and is plug and play when replacing an older Honeywell thermostat.

This thermostat was provided free of charge by my local utility company. I had a professional heating contractor install. It is consistently 2 degrees low. I set it on 74 and it SAYS 74 but other thermometers in house register only 72.

We just had new HVAC units installed and I figured this would be the perfect time to upgrade to smart thermostats. I’m very pleased with the precision and convenience. The Honeywell WiFi-9000s are very easy to read even from a distance but I usually use the app on my phone to make any changes. The setup is very easy on both the unit and phone. The touch pad is very sensitive which is nice. My old thermostats took several pushes to register. This thermostat also has a variety of color schemes which is a fun little extra.

Never stays connected to my network

I can not go a single day with the thermostat remaining connected to my internet connection. The thermostat is 20 feet away and everything else in the house works. I am sick and tired of getting up and manually reconnecting so the app will work. Only to wake up and find the thermo has disconnected itself AGAIN. Do not buy this hunk of crap. Buy a nest.

I bought these as a test for my energy consulting company (I am a C46 and C10 electrician). The interface with TC, while took a little getting used to, is flawless and nice to have complete control over the 3 buildings and 4 control areas in a single interface. One of them has a temperature "issue". In heat mode, the temp reads only 70 while the controls keep the heat running up past 74. touchpad works and only upon reboot does the temp read properly and properly control the Heat (28V R + Y, R+C, R +W)
