The thermostat was easy too set up, just make sure you have 24V coming from the unit. If not, typical thermostat wires will have spare conductors and it’s fairly easy to connector it to the proper terminal at the unit but make sure the power is turned off first. If unsure, call your electrician buddy.
The scheduler makes the thermostat a bit confusing and you think it malfunctioning because the Temperature of your house doesn’t change based on your manual changes. Once you figure that out, it’s great!
I have a house with four zones and this is the third one I have installed. I have an older house with a heat only system and no "C wire." In order to install these, I had to buy a 24 volt transformer, but these work great and they allow me to establish a schedule and to control the heating remotely with my phone and using the Amazon Alexa app.
