This thermostat has saved me a very considerable amount of money. I was able to monitor my home while away for extended periods of time. I had some problems connecting to my WiFi but after calling Honeywell I was able to fix my problem. I had to connect to 2g rather than 5g.
We like the convenience of the phone app. Our 2 thermostats seems to register about 3 to 4 degrees higher than actual. In other words, when it’s 74 in the room The thermostat will show 77 or 78. Wondering if it can be calibrated.
I was expecting a much more customizable experience, especially considering the variable speed furnace I replaced at the same time. The touchscreen is also not responsive 90% of the time, I have to hit the same button multiple times to get it to work. Also, the app is very limited in it's capabilities. Had the Sensei before this and was "upgraded" to this as a package deal with the new furnace, wish I could go back now.
I wish I could get it to work like my car's climate control system where it would go into heat or cool mode when necessary.

We successfully used this thermostat for about a year. Programming worked fine until I tried to change the program to include cooling once summer set in. Now despite all efforts it no longer follows any schedule and we need to manually turn heat up and down.
