Wiring connectors are cheap but functional. I doubt wires could ever be released without breakage. The touch screen is not very responsive. The fan continues to operate in the "circulate" mode even when the "system" is set to "off". So, it takes 2 steps to totally disable the system. I don’t like this. The stat is working well and WiFi is stable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was replacing on old unit with this one. I selected the 9000 because it could interface with my household and be controlled outside of the home. It was complicated to install. I had to create a map of the old wiring to the new wiring. Once it was connected, it worked as designed. I like the display and that it tells humidity. I had a hiccup with connecting to the household, but it was not inconvenient, just not as smooth as I had hoped it would be. Setting up the schedule was easy. It has been running perfectly. Remote setting works great and is easy.
