Mostly user friendly but needs more than 4 time slots to program and the fixed labels for the 4 slots you have should be customizable instead of the labels you gave them.

The thermostat allows me to view or control HVAC conditions in my home from my phone or iPad. Also on the thermostat itself. I will be installing more of there at other properties.

This is a very clear faced thermostat and it is simple to use on the cell phone. Only negative is that sometimes the cool remains for a little bit after temperature has reached the set level

I have had the former version for about 4 years. It works well, and does what I want it to do. The only issue I had with it was that the screen was very bright and shone like a beacon, until I figured out how to dim it. This new one has more refinement and color choices. During programming it asked if someone is home all day: When I responded "yes" it only allowed 2 programs (temperature and time) per day. My advice it so answer "no", which allows 4 program temperature and time settings per day and therefore more flexibility.
