Scheduling when my heat goes off and on has already saved me lots money. I cut my heating bill in half. Programming and monitoring temperature settings from my phone couldnât be any easier. Love this thermostat.

In about 2 months the screen on the thermostat started to fail.
This is the 3rd WfFi 9000 that I have had installed. The first two were at my business. I loved the thermostat so much that I had one installed at my condo. It is very easy to set up and intuitive to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this thermostat model as part of my energy provider's summer cooling options program. The list of available accepted thermostats was very small. So the above model was what I got. This thing is a huge FAILURE. It suffers from fatal design flaws, has very little flexibility, not easily controlled via the app, impossible to create heating or cooling programs from the app, even using the actual thermostat it very hard to create and save a basic Mo-Fr, Sat, and Sun cooling program. The thermostat tries to save the cooling/heating program only encounter a problem with the save. The thermostat locks up and has to be removed from its wall bracket. This resets all functions back to how it came out of the box. Any changes or programs that were made are completely lost.
A glaring flaw is that only four time slots are available for a given day AND the cooling and heating programs MUST use these exact four times. There is NO ability to create a separate cooling or heating program that has unique time slots for maximum equipment efficiency!
If you happen to get this far without ripping it off the wall and stomping on it, then you face the inability to make the thermostat favor longer cooling cycles that can reduce the humidity level in your home more effectively. The thermostat will begin to cool when say a setpoint of 76 is part of the schedule. The indoor temperature reaches the 76 degree setpoint and it continues to run for a period of time then it shuts down. It will not be more than 15 minutes in any cooling demand that the AC comes on again only to run for less than 10 minutes. This vicious cycle continues with frequent short cycles and does very little to reduce the humidity level in your home. I have tired everything to get a longer cooling cycle. I have even gone into the "Indoor Display Offsets" to try the adjust the temperature up (+1) to make it think the temperature is warmer and force a longer run cycle, the same was done to the Humidity % offset (+20%). These changes did exactly NOTHING to create longer cooling run cycles!
Heat/cooling professionals only recommend adjusting the temperature as in this tight range (-1, 0, +1). Very little information is available on adjusting the Humidity %!!
This thermostat lives up to its mediocre ratings in a popular consumer magazine. It literally fails at doing the very function it is suppossed to do: Be a USER friendly, reliable WIFI thermostat!! If I did not have to use this specific model to participate in my energy company's summer cooling program, It WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED LONG AGO!!

Faulty thermostat. Called Honeywell they said it was connected correct. I called an HVAC professional and he said it is faulty and won't communicate with heat pump.
