I needed to log on by computer then activate the app on my phone. Easy to use. Bright and clear panel to read. Much more visible than my old thermostat. I really like this one. Simple for this 70 year young lady to operate.

It’s best to own a smart phone to work changes to the schedule on your thermostat as the keypad on the thermostat is temperamental and sticky.

It’s been wonderful to have this thermostat in my home. I have been able to change the temperature from work on days then the weather is different from normal. I love being able to turn it off when I’m out of town and then have it adjusted to be comfortable the day I’m arriving home. If too hot or cold in the middle of the night, just grab the phone and adjust rather than having to get out of bed to do it. It’s been so convenient! This product is great!
Check to make sure you have 5 wires before purchasing this thermostat. Some only have 4 and are not compatible with this thermostat.

Easy install, great upgrade, intuitive programming, and an all around great purchase. My only complaint is that it's a bit too bright even on the lowest setting. Wish it had an "almost off" setting for the dimmer, but not enough to cost it a star.

I Love the back lighting. I can see it at a glance instead of having to push buttons. I'm very disappointed that it is not Z-wave enabled, but it still integrates into the Samsung smarthub, so I decided to keep it.
