Easy wire installation and wifi setup. The Apple app was a little clunky at first. I had it working then it stopped working. Uninstalled the app then re-installed it. Works good now about a month post install.

Great thermostat but App needs work

The thermostat is great. The programming is easy. It looks great. What I don't like is the app. It is very rudimentary. It is functional in that I can control the thermostat. I manually set the thermostat in vacation mode. You cannot change it from the app.! Totally not acceptable. Please upgrade the systems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use but could be better

basic app is easy to use which is nice. Seems like there could be some additional functionality added to the app.
The thermostat is great but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Don’t tell you what app to get and the setup is wrong. When you call in they will get it going in just a few minutes with the correct app.
This Honeywell 9000 is the second one I've purchased. The first has been in flawless operation for about 5 years, so I installed a second one in my vacation home. Both allow me to monitor and adjust status when I'm not in residence using a single app. One one occasion my furnace malfunctioned and I was alerted me to call a repairman both in the app and by email.
