Was not looking for a wifi capable thermostat, it came with my new a/c install. Did not know if I would use the phone app, but have found that it is handy at certain times. It has been working fine.

I had Vine smart thermostat in my vacation rental & it wouldn't switch from cool to heat. The weather dipped to freezing & I had guests screaming & ready to move out. I installed 3 Honeywell 9000 and they work perfectly. I can control all 3 in 1 app.

The installation was done by a contractor and he is very familiar with them as it was on his recommendation that we got it. However, there was a glitch in installation as one of the pages we needed was identical to another and we had the wrong one.

Sometimes randomly it just switches over to the nighttime temperature. I have it set for 10pm and sometimes it just starts going at 8pm or 9pm. Frustrating.

Thermostat screen turns black/blank and reboots almost every time the heat is on. Then once itâs back on, reads temp wrong.

You can turn it on and off from your cell phone from anywhere . We would highly recommend it to everyone. We love it!

I luv the choices in colors for the screen. I have one concern some times it changes to green. Other then that it's awesome.
