The thermostat works well. The touchscreen is a little lacking. You have to touch it just right for a press to register. But, modern cell phones have spoiled us. The app is useful, love that I can use it away from home.

I had reluctancy when I thought about the thermostat... And now that it is installed, and I might add it was easy, I am absolutely excited! It's so easy to operate because when were watching TV and an important game, I don't have to leave the TV to get it cooler! Just grab my phone and it's done! Also when traveling, I can raise the temperature and before coming home can lower it to the correct temp. so when we get home, we walk into a comfortable environment. It's Awesome!

I have a 2 zone system with a single, nat gas/AC unit. The 2 thermostats work well without any interference with each other. The app is straightforward, and the flexible. I had some app update issues recently, but Resideo returned my call on the weekend (!) to explain they had an Android update corruption issue, but were working to resolve it. These thermostats are very adaptable and will handle multiple stage HVAC units. So when I purchase a newer, variable speed unit in the future, these thermostats will be able to manage those future needs. P.S. These thermostats require a "C" wire!
