I love being able to make changes through the phone app and I also love that the settings can be adjusted through the day automatically

This is my second 9000 thermostat and I love them both. I have two HVAC systems in my home. The only weak link with this product is the website app to control it remotely. Sometimes I cannot even log in or make changes remotely.

The Honeywell 9000 works great when you use the touchscreen on the wall. However, the app on the iPhone only works about 50% of the time.

We have a an unusual HVAC system in our home. We have never had a heat pump as a compressor, nor an auxiliary heat source. In our case the aux heat comes from an Electric Thermal Storage unit. This thermostat fits in nicely to run our whole system.

I am the hvac contractor owner. I installed the control in my home solely as a demo for my clients. However I found it to be more useful than just a demo. The install and set up was seamless.

I deal with Honeywell manual, programmable and Wi-Fi thermostats daily in my job as an Energy Consultant, so I knew I wanted one for my home. My son gave it to me for a Christmas present and it come in handy when I had to put in a new HVAC system.
