[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I deal with a lot of power outages, because some of us work from home these outages affect our ability to work properly. Now with this backup system, it lets us work in peace without worrying if the outage will affect us. It kept my stuff powered on even when we had power failures. Thank you Influenster!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was quite excited to be trying out this awsome back up battery but to be honest this isn't what it claims to be . The capacity is so low that it isn't even enough for my gaming PC which is over 750W while this can only handle 300W max. I plugged in my TV and Xbox to this as a surge protector but it made my devices slower because they couldn't get enough juice, it would only be able to be plugged into my Xbox and even that would be barley enough juice .
This isn't what it seems and I would not recommend it .

BE500G3 is one of the smaller entry level UPS units with a capacity of only 300W and an expected runtime of around 3 mins at full load (300W). For higher power requirements, we recommend exploring our Back UPS Pro or Smart UPS line with greater capacity. Some of the models are BR1500MS2, BGM1500, and/or BGM1500B which offer 900W capacity and are more suitable for gaming PCs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing! It is so efficient and great for whoever struggles with power outage. It is easy to carry to places, it is not tremendously big. I know 500va might not be enough for certain equipments or set ups but this has worked for my phones and laptop when we road trip.

Missing a visual Guage showing remaining power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backup system is a little small for anything that might be really critical, so maintain power on as we had an outage that lasted about 3 ½ hours. It worked until it ran out of power, but I think my biggest complaint is the lack of a visual cue showing the remaining power level. It is small and convenient to put out of the way and still be useful. Overall, it's a decent unit, but the only indicator for power level is an audio beep indicating it is low on power. It's unclear what is left at that point though.

We appreciate you sharing your BE500G3 experience. Our Back UPS series includes smaller entry-level UPS models that do not feature an LED indicator for the remaining battery charge. However, this functionality is present in our Back UPS Pro line models, which come with an LCD display at the front of the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the performance and size of it, not too big. Very easy to set up and I have used it in a power outage and it works great! It's compatible with all my plugs so that's a plus. Good for the price but still expensive for me.
