I have been working from home for the last year much like anyone else. I just now started to get myself some office furniture and this desk chair was perfect. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and of course like any other chair it needs a little bit more cushion and is a little less comfortable than it was in the store but it is still the perfect chair. The high back and A perfect placement of the armrest is ergonomically sound for me and I am able to work comfortably on two computers on one desk.
I wanted to love it. I really did. It's super high quality in its parts (lots of sturdy metal in the arms and the base) and it went together fairly easily. But this chair just isn't adequate for lumbar support. I'd read a few reviews that said it was ergonomic and I'm short and one reviewer even said it worked for her petite frame but the issue isn't the placement of the lumbar support but the fact that it's not firm at all. In addition the chair naturally tips back a bit - it doesn't sit straight up even in the locked position. With the addition of extra lumbar support pillows and a neckroll I am comfortable enough. If we weren't mid-COVID precautions and I could have gone to the store I'd have returned this after a day.
