This is a great chair for the money. You have a vertical adjustment by using the hand bar below the chair. You have a tilt feature by using the rotating knob under the chair which means you have to get out of the chair to reach and adjust.The arm rests pivot out of the way if you choose not to use them. The only issue is there is still a portion that sticks out past the backrest which can be a nuance.Rolls easily on carpet and is a comfort to set in.

This is a very good chair but not as good as my full leather upholstered chair that it is replacing. The seat cushion is not as padded but the back support is better. You cannot beat the chair for the price.
