With working-from-home being the norm now I bought this chair for my 6’ 4” tall husband and it fits him very well. It is sturdy and stylish - the neck support is good but not in the way and the extra padding on the seat (right under where the hamstrings hit) will be comfortable and healthy for posture. He especially appreciate that although this chair is primarily (bonded) leather portions of the seat and back are covered in a fabric that will be more breathable.
The chair on the floor of the store was very comfortable to sit in. I tried about 15 chairs on display that morning. However they won't sell the floor model so I bought the boxed chair and assembled it at home. When I sat in it I was very surprised at how uncomfortable it was. The seat cushion was very hard compared to the floor model. When I returned it to the same store the next day the store manager said I had to give it time to "break in" but that makes no sense. If there is very little padding there is nothing to break in. I could see if it were "overpadded" and you need to compress the foam a bit but this had virtually no foam padding and you were sitting on the base wood so no amount of breaking in would change that! However I went to a different Staples (the Mission Valley (San Diego) store next and that manager was exceptionally helpful and we were able to find a different model chair (the Staples Brand Traymore model) which cost less and I was permitted to buy the floor model that I actually sat in and liked. I would recommend that chair and that store. I appreciate the Staples return policy even though the first chair did not work out.
Nice chair but does not go up and down well for someone under 100 lbs.

It's a nice chair but I realized right away it does not go up and down very easy if you weigh under 100 lbs. Hopefully in time it will adjust easier I had to have my son come over to see why and it adjusted up and down just fine for him @ 200 lbs so he had to set it at the height I needed and if I want to adjust it I have to put 20 lb weights in my lap.Again I am hoping with time it will loosen up enough to allow me to adjust it without the weights.
