Nice looking chair but the height function doesn't work

The chair is a nice grey color and looks great in the office but the function to raise and lower the height of the chair doesn't really work. The second you sit on the chair it lowers all the way down. I would probably return the chair if this pandemic wasn't scaring me into staying home unless there was an emergency.

Chair Color is Not As Pictured

I bought the chair and it was delivered last week. I haven't put it together yet but when I removed it from the box I was very disappointed at the color. The picture shows it as a light gray; in reality it's a very very dark gray. Not going to return it (it would cost too much) but was really disappointed in the color. Will update when I put it together and see how it feels when I sit in it.

This chair is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had or sat on. It was easy to assemble in less than ten minutes It is also very durable. Many times per day the pads on the arm rests come in contact with with the wooden corners off my desk pull-outs and there has been no damage to either arm rests..I love it!
