I loved the color & the high back of this chair. And it looks quite plush & comfy. However it is not comfortable at all!! The one I got was defective it leaned to the right & the seat was broken. Also the back lock is awful even when locked straight up it still leans back quite a bit. The cushion under your bum is almost non existent & its like sitting on cardboard all day. Also I have wide hips & the arms of the chair dug into my legs all day. I used the chair for 2 days & that was good for me. Took it back apart & returned it & bought the "Staples Osgood Bonded Leather HighBack Managers Chair". That chair was a million times more comfortable than this one.

The chair was not as big seated as i expected and it not as sturdy feeling as i thought it would be. I am going to keep the chair but i will be looking to some other supplier if i have to get another chair in the future.

Replacing Parts Too Often

Three years into ownership and Staples makes you jump through hoops before they will honor the warranty. You need to have the original receipt - regardless of the fact that I've had to call to replace parts before. Doesn't matter if the manufacturing date tag on the bottom of the chair shows it is well within the original warranty period. This is aside from the fact that both the seat and one of the arms have needed to be replaced already on a lightly used chair.
