Once assembled the chair works great. VERY STRONGLY suggest having the store assemble the chair. Not worth the aggravation attempting to do it yourself. Even when the holes line up the appropriate assigned bolts do not work as designed.

We bought this chair for my husband's birthday last month and he's thrilled with it. After trying out several chairs in the store he felt most comfortable with the Staples Mcallum chair. He's over 6 feet tall and has back problems but this chair allows him to sit for long periods of time without pain. The store put it together (worth every penny) and they offered to carry it out to our car. The color gray is beautiful and it's very well made. I can honestly say we're very happy with our purchase.
