Chair broken in multiple ways

I've had this chair as my primary workstation desk chair for 2 years. It has broken in 2 major ways in the time I've owned it. 1. The pump that adjusts the height is broken. It randomly sinks to the lowest setting sometimes all at once so I sort of slam down. 2. The back is loose or something but not related to any bolts that I can tighten as I have tried. Whenever I go to lean back in it it leans WAYYYYYYYY back almost to the point where it seems the chair will fall over or fall apart. Also the "leather" upholstery is super cheap and flakes like crazy. The chair is practically bare where my lower back rests.

This chair is a winner! The cushioning is great. It is very comfy easily wiped off and even leans back a little bit. I got the gray color and it looks very nice! I would recommend this staples brand chair!

The instructions were very difficult to understand. We put the chair together but somehow the seat was on backward but once we turned around it was very comfortable.
