The biggest problem with this chair is that even in the upright and locked position at the desk the seatback has too much lean back so you're too far away from the desk. Initially I thought it was the locking mechanism but when its unlocked it goes all the way back like its laying down. I would return this but the window for the return ended two days ago.

I am a tall (6'5") and heavy (250) person who sits for long periods at my desk. This chair is surprisingly comfortable and supportive. Fits me very well. It seems well made and sturdy like it will last for awhile. For the price - especially when on sale - I don't think you can find better.
