Chair is a huge upgrade in quality and comfort from my last one and price was really affordable considering how well-built it is highly recommend!

Comfortable for the price

I like that the arm rests can be optionally removed but doing so exposes what is a quality control issue which is that the plastic sides of the seat have rather sharp edges rather than smoothed out rounded corners as can be found on the upper back piece.
It’s an okay chair I don’t feel like it has enough back support. If you lean back it is very comfortable but when you are working for 8hr you can’t lean back. It’s not a bad chair it just needs more back support.

Tried in store but was uncomfortable at home

I've been needing a new office chair so popped into Staples to see what they had. I tried this and was pleasantly surprised - especially since it was 50% off. I liked the adjustable headrest and adjustable-height armrests. The light gray color was nice enough for my office aesthetic though I'd prefer a mauve or light blue chair. Still the headrest and adj-height armrests were new features for me so I was pretty excited. Was unsure about the lumbar support because in the store it seemed too strong -- or perhaps it was like shoes and going from low-support to high-support is painful at first then feels amazing long-term? I wasn't sure. The next day at home I realized the sale ended same-day so my spouse went and bought it for me. Built it (easy except for the 5th wheel which was a struggle) then I sat in it...and immediately felt pressure under the front of my legs. The seat is mostly mesh with the front 3-4" padded -- and the mesh was looser tension so you kinda fell into the seat while the front foam stayed sturdy. Would have been awful to sit in it long-term. My spouse tried it too and said the same thing (without me telling him what felt bad to me). Maybe the one in the store was worn in maybe it's just a quality variance idk. We are now disassembling it and packing it back up 5 mins after assembling it.
