Love the chair. I replaced the Hyken as its seat base mesh wore out after five years. Even though it was covered under warranty I thought it was time to try a new chair. Compared to the Hyken the Dexley is wider and deeper in the seat base. The arms also sit a bit wider than the Hyken. I'm 5'11" and 200lbs. The Hyken feels a bit tight compared to this now. For someone smaller the Dexley may be too big. The Hyken headrest height seemed to go higher than the Dexley. At the Dexley headrest max height I had to tilt the headrest all the way up to be able to rest my head. The headrest also feels a bit further back than the Hyken. When you lock the back in place the Dexley still has a little give before it stops. The Hyken was a much tighter lock. I like the all-black look of the Dexley compared to the Hyken. The chairs roll pretty much the same way not too free on a hardwood floor but generally stays in place on a level floor. Overall very happy with the chair.
I bought this chair for my new stay at home office. I needed a very good lumbar support and this chair has one. It was very easy to put together. It's comfortable and adjustable including the lumbar.
I am a teacher doing remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic. I needed a comfortable chair so my body could handle hours in front of a computer. The mesh of this chair is supportive and is holding up well. It rolls and swivels smoothly. It was easy for one person to put together- even the little wrench was included all parts were labeled and the different screws were packed separately so they were easy to identify.
