At time of purchase the seat felt comfy. After sitting in it for a couple of 8 hr. days my rear aches. The 2.5 inch molded tabs under the mesh on each side of the seat frame puts pressure on the top of my legs. This pressure becomes painful. In case you wondering my weight is 204 lbs.. Due to these tabs I do not recommend this chair.

New WFH chair

The chair seems to have almost everything I want to WFH at an affordable price. Pros: Up/Down adjustment is good. Lean back tension adjustment is good. Arm rest height adjustment is good. Lump bar support's adjustment is good Armrest padding is firm but not uncomfortable Price is good. Con: The seat feels very firm to me. It should be a little softer. I can only sit on this Dexley for maybe 2 hours max. At work I have the Aeron chair with mesh seat and I feel it is not too soft and not too firm; i can sit on it for 3-4 hours nonstop. I will need to buy a cushion to put on top of this Dexley chair so I can use it for more 2 hours non-stop. Because the price is good and the seat firmness can be fixed with a cheap cushion I will keep the Dexley chair.

Was having back/neck pain complete drain of energy at the end of the day. I read about how body position and ergonomics in a chair affect a persons body so I research seating options and this chair is absolutely just what I needed! Feel so good at the end of work and all the discomfort and pain are gone. This is the perfect chair.

Comfortable seems solid built tilting is very good. Head rest I can take or leave. Instructions to build the chair were the best I have ever seen. The only thing one of two plastic screw holes on the headrest was stripped out but the screw is snug and the headrest is seated in such a way that it really doesn’t effect anything.

I replaced my desk chair a heavily padded vinyl-clad chair of 5 to maybe 7 years that was very serviceable but the vinyl covering was beginning to peel off. It looked shabby but was still quite sereviceable. When I replaced it with this mesh chair I realized how hot the old chair was to sit on. In our current summer time heat conditions this mesh coolness is most welcome. Then I also realized how much better the lumbar support is on this mesh chair. It is GREAT! I highly recommend this particular chair.

I am so glad to get a new chair/upgrade. I have had my other one for 20 years and it was hurting my back this one took care of these issues. I put it together myself (a senior female) and only one problem with the last set of 3 screws to put in one of the chairs receiver slots seemed striped on the inside threads and took a lot more to get it in with some graphite and W-D 40. All in all I would highly recommend this chair.
