very easy assembly one of the best I ever had. only one tool needed provided and bolts are color coded and come each in teie own pocket. I love the meash the chair is stable and wuit and comfortable

Purchased 8 of these for our office workers. Not one lasted beyond 24 months and they all failed for the same reason. The chair base is plastic and the piston eventually pushes through the base cracking it in the process and makes direct contact with the floor. Poor design and now we have to replace all of these chairs so we don't destroy the floor. All of our office workers are below 200 lbs.

Mesh started separating after only 45 days of use

I felt this chair was way overpriced at $299 but I had a coupon that brought it down to $120 (Staples is probably still making profit) and decided why not try it? Big mistake. I'm a writer and use my computer about 6-8hrs every day. After ~45 days the mesh on the back support started separating from the frame. I don't know how they even have it secured it seems like the mesh-edge is just shoved in a slot on the frame and simply tamped down. No rips from being torn from anchors no glue that I could see. It's just cheaply made crap. Stay away.
