This is very easy to assemble by one person. My son loves it during distance learning for his college classes. However I bought this for myself. Somehow my arm starts to show rashes after staying in contact with the armrest for a couple of hours while sitting. I wonder if I'm allergic to a chemical compound on its surface. Since my son has no problem with it whatsoever I guess the problem is specific to me.
