We have only been using this chair for about 2 weeks but it is already so creamy we are thinking about returning it. Our weight is normal and the chairs seems not to be able to handle the 140 ponds. Very disappointing.

Finally there is an office chair that is strong enough to handle those of us who weigh more than 150 pounds! This one is rated for 275 pounds. Often chairs which have leather or vinyl seats do not breathe which causes those of us who perspire to experience dampened clothing in areas of seat contact. Since this chair has mesh the perspiration evaporates and everything stays cool and dry. I also appreciate its adjustable lower back adjustable arm rests and headrest. The headrest enables leaning back and taking a power nap for a few minutes now and then. The one flaw in my particular chair is that the Tilt Tension knob that is supposed to turn for increasing or decreasing the tilt tension refuses to turn. Not for love or money! I wanted to increase the tension. Fortunately Union & Scale is sending me a replacement assembly that has this knob. I recommend checking this on your chair and making certain you can turn this knob.

Can sit for long time and still be comforatble

I have been able to sit up to 14 hours on this chair and it is comfortable. The movable back support is great. I really the high head rest as well. I weigh about 275.

The back and flat of the char is flexible but firm mesh which is comfortable and does not flatten over time leaving you with sitting on a flat metal plate. Overall it’s a great buy.
