I have had this chair for about 6 weeks (ordered on January 5th). I was using my chair at my desk when I felt something sharp in my left shoulder blade. I brushed it off and continued my work. About 2 minutes later I noticed it again. I decided to stop what I was doing and look at the back of my chair. When looking closely I could see a staple sticking out of the back assembly I attempted to push it back in but it ended up causing 3 more to just simply fall out. Very disappointed to find this. It means that the backing is now just loose in the area that those staples are no longer holding. The other issue is there is no clear way to repair this issue. I noticed some screws but no easy way to remove them and re-assemble the backing. I opted not to get the protection plan so I was left kind of high and dry. I really liked this chair prior to this unfortunate finding. Hopefully there is a fix I can find for it.
I’ve had this chair put together and in my office for 1 day and it is squeaky every move I make. How embarrassing in a quiet office 🥺 I have take a video but it won’t let me upload it.
I had this chair for a little more than a year using it just about every weekday. After this time the stopping mechanism that keeps the chair back from leaning back flat out broke and now it is very uncomfortable (no more back support as it keeps leaning back).
I really didn't want to get rid of my old leather oversized desk chair but it no longer met my needs is too heavy to pull out from under the desk and was just not meant to sit in a bedroom office and not a "real" oversize desk. This new desk chair is comfortable easy to roll and most importantly the arms raise and lower which is vital for my comfort when using the computer.
