I had considered the well liked Hyken chair but tried both chairs at the store. Immediately knew as the Hyken chair cut into my shoulders where the head rest sat. The Dexley fits me well at 6’0. My only complaint is how the Hyken has 3 stopping points for the back the Dexley has just 1.

This is one chair I would recommend. Comfortable with good lumbar support this chair is a good value. At this price point don't expect alot of controls like locking tilt but if you are looking for a solid chair that you could sit in for hours then this might fit the bill. Assembly was quick and painless with individually packaged fasteners included wrench and clear instructions. Last page of the assembly guide says " Behold the finished product" . Funny stuff. The "hyken" was a contender but I ultimately decided to go with this chair based on youtube videos. In short don't be afraid of pulling the trigger on this one. Or a Hermann Miller if money is no object.

I don't usually like to spend a lot of money on things like an office chair but this was a good purchase. The breathability and comfort of the mesh was unexpectedly satisfying. The adjustable lumbar arm rest height and headrest height were also great augments to the seat height and tension adjustments. To top it off the materials and engineering appears to be solidly made and designed as evidenced by the 7 year warranty. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this chair to others! For reference I am 5'9" with a stout 200 pound frame and feel this chair fits me well.
