I needed a new chair for my office since I have to go in more nowadays. At home I have used my *air-on* for 4-5 years and this seemed like a decent alternative for a literal fraction of the price. I bought online and picked up in store. It was ready quickly and packaging was clearly both adequate + zero damage (always a good first impression!). Instructions were refreshingly simple and human-focused. I assembled in 45min and the chair is very solid. I am very happy with the price to value because it feels relatively similar to my *air on* feature and comfort wise. I am 6’4” ~270 and like to recline- the chair handles me effortlessly. The mesh does not feel stressed at all. (I had read some reviews of the bottom mesh failing- this has not been the case and as I noted I am not petite!). To be honest it feels like a $300-500+ chair. I am hoping it lasts years but feeling confident because of how robust & comfortable it feels. No cons to speak of after several weeks.
I have had this chair for about 6 weeks (ordered on January 5th). I was using my chair at my desk when I felt something sharp in my left shoulder blade. I brushed it off and continued my work. About 2 minutes later I noticed it again. I decided to stop what I was doing and look at the back of my chair. When looking closely I could see a staple sticking out of the back assembly I attempted to push it back in but it ended up causing 3 more to just simply fall out. Very disappointed to find this. It means that the backing is now just loose in the area that those staples are no longer holding. The other issue is there is no clear way to repair this issue. I noticed some screws but no easy way to remove them and re-assemble the backing. I opted not to get the protection plan so I was left kind of high and dry. I really liked this chair prior to this unfortunate finding. Hopefully there is a fix I can find for it.
