Failure within first year of use

The gas cylinder gradually failed completely. From occasionally to consistently the seat would drop to lowest position due to faulty gas cylinder. Also mesh seating stretches out and no longer provides support. This all happened within the first year.

I am retired so I got this as a task/sewing chair. I had a regular small swivel chair but after sitting and sewing for hours my tail bone was quite sore. This doesn’t have any hard seat to put pressure on my tailbone. I wish it could go down a bit more as I’ve seen in other reviews but I just got a small stool for my feet. The arms and head rest don’t get in my way. And let’s face it it’s nice and big so I fit well! Plus I got it on sale with a little discount for buying it online. Overall I’m very pleased.

I work remotely and spend 8 hours on this chair daily. The chair has no cushion but a mesh which is obvious. Not comfortable for my hips nor my back. The tilt has a couple of settings but not adequate for my back to keep me sitting straight and comfortable. My hips and sciatic usually hurt when using it. The arms rest however are adjustable and comfortable. Unfortunately it’s not for me.
