I’m 6’3” with a long torso. Finding a comfortable work chair that’s tall enough for me is a challenge. This chair has a high enough headrest for a tall person like me and you can attach the pillow on the top section (as well as though the middle opening if it needs to be lower). The lumbar support is firm enough for me and adjustable up or down. The back reclines independent of the seat and it stays in place when you lean the whole chair back as well. The casters roll smoothly on my solid floor surface without binding. I did notice that the floor model in the store had some wear on the “pleather” seat surface. So far the chair I purchased is holding up well after a week of heavy use. Suggested add-ons: I do use a footrest with the chair when it’s reclined. I also suggest attaching a separate solid mouse pad to the armrest if desired. The armrest is flat and supports bolting on a mouse pad.
I bought this chair for my son for his online college classes. He LOVES it. Said it is one of the most comfortable chairs he has sat in. It was easy to assemble and looks great too! I would recommend this as a comfortable chair for use at a desk for classes or for gaming (but he isn't a gamer).
I work 10-15 hours a day working from home and I am sitting all that time. My chair was very uncomfortable. I love this emerge gaming chair. It fits me like a glove.
For those of us who are wider this chair is an absolute PAIN. The bucket part of the seat will dig into your thighs making it SUPER unfortable to sit in.
We bought two one for me because my arm was falling asleep when working at my PC. One for my husband because his back was bothering him while working at his PC. We are both very impressed with the support and comfort. Our bodies are much happier.
