This gaming chair is quite good if you want a really comfortable sit while at your computer. It allows adjustment of itself more than most other similar computer chairs. It's solidly made However the use of bonded leather is not desirable: bonded leather is actually fake leather and over time can chip and peel off. So that's why I'm giving it 4 Stars otherwise it would get 5 stars. Time will tell how well the bonded leather holds up under ordinary use. Get the additional Osurian coverage through Staples because the manufacturers 7 year warranty though good does not cover issues such as peeling and flaking but the Osurion warranty does so it's worth the small cost. Assembly was easy and all parts were labeled and instructions were clear; No additional tools are required; It comes with a tool to assemble everything. One last note: This is a big chair so keep that in mind as well but if you have the space it's worth the price.
It does what it's supposed to do. Fairly comfortable and inexpensive. Feels well-built for the most part. The lumbar pillows can slip around at times but it's not a big deal.
The lumbar support is just a bump more than a support and if I recline any at all it is then in the wrong place. I’m not a gamer I have mobility issues and I just need a comfortable chair at the computer. Could it be exchanged for different chair like another one that did feel more comfortable?
I’m 6’3” with a long torso. Finding a comfortable work chair that’s tall enough for me is a challenge. This chair has a high enough headrest for a tall person like me and you can attach the pillow on the top section (as well as though the middle opening if it needs to be lower). The lumbar support is firm enough for me and adjustable up or down. The back reclines independent of the seat and it stays in place when you lean the whole chair back as well. The casters roll smoothly on my solid floor surface without binding. I did notice that the floor model in the store had some wear on the “pleather” seat surface. So far the chair I purchased is holding up well after a week of heavy use. Suggested add-ons: I do use a footrest with the chair when it’s reclined. I also suggest attaching a separate solid mouse pad to the armrest if desired. The armrest is flat and supports bolting on a mouse pad.
