It's hard to tell how the chair will hold up over time but it feels sturdy and is comfortable. We decided to use it without the neck support as I felt it pushed your head forward but it might be fine for someone of the correct height.

This will be a gift so it is still in the box but when I bought it I did check the store supply and there were several that had split and cracked fabric. When asked the clerk said those had been returned so I made sure to buy the warranty--bonded leather just doesn't hold up and I lost a $1300 sofa several years ago because I didn't know that.
