nice soft leather and I really do not like leather furniture but this chair I like quick and easy to put together the design of it is almost like a cars seat I reclined all the way back in it to see if it would hold my weight although nervous I would fall over and it held me up (I'm 230lbs) **************************************DANGER ALERT***************************************************** *****the arms go up & down and lock in place with a simple leaver how ever the forward & back motion is a cause for concern because they do not lock in place (if someone has bad balance & try to get up from the chair using the arm rest and it shifts they could fall)*********

Have barely had the chair for 2 months and BOTH armrests have fallen off. And the leather is already fraying and peeling. I won't be buying this brand every again.

I have been extremely please with this new chair. It has relieved my back and should pain. I work from home and spend 10 hours a day sitting in my chair. I would highly recommend this chair for anyone with back and neck issues.
