The chair is quite comfortable though I found the lumbar pillow to be too large I couldn't find a comfortable position for it. I had two major issues with the chair and maybe they're silly but for me they were deal breakers. #1 - the "wings" on the back are too pronounced and interfere with reaching your arms out. I have a table to the right of my desk and kept bumping my arm trying to grab things off of it. #2 - you can't easily rock back in the chair. I suspect because it has the car-style reclining but in any case you can't rock back without using your feet to push off the ground. I like the rocking from a traditional office chair. If neither of those things sound bad to you try it out. It is comfy and when you recline all the way back you could even take a nap in it.
