Seat fabric tearing at seam after less than a year

I bought this chair for my daughter. The chair seemed ok at first but less than a year later and I'm here to write a review to let everyone else know that the fabric on the seat of the chair is coming apart at the seams. When I press down on the seat you can clearly see the stitching is coming loose.

It’s comfortable and has good support. The pillows adjust so you can place where you need them most or completely remove them. Perfect for my office and for long 8 hour day.

I think I sat in every office chair in Staples but when I sat in this one I knew it was the right one. It was the only one that came with neck and back pads which are perfectly designed for my back.

Chair was comfortable enough but after 20 days I stood up (used the chair for support as one normally would do) and the handle broke off. In fairness it was a floor model and I luckily purchased the insurance. Am in the processing of replacing w/ same chair but this time I want it to be a new chair not a floor model. Lesson learned. I am an accountant not a gamer. Maybe the chair knew that.
