I was so excited to finally find a chair that would fit my small body. At my local Staples store I sat in it probably 10 times. I wanted to be 100% sure it would work before ordering it. First I had NO IDEA how difficult it would be to assemble this chair. I am 60 years young and fairly fit but I live alone. Lifting the seat onto the base was horrendous. I injured my lower back and both knees in the process. And getting the plastic side panels installed to cover the mechanical parts of the chair that connects the back to the seat brought me to frustrated tears . . . twice! But after almost 2 hours of struggle I got the chair assembled. I eagerly sat down and was utterly shocked. The chair is too tall. I am 5'2" and my feet do not reach the ground which causes my lower back to arch. I have lower back problems and I specifically got this chair for lumbar support that cannot correct for this arching. This is EXACTLY why I sat in the demo chair at Staples so often - to make sure my feet would reach the ground. The ONLY thing I can figure out is that the chair at the store did not have the rollers installed. When I thought about it this makes sense for legal reasons. Staples could be sued if the rollers were installed and the chair moved when someone sat down in it. But the additional 2-3 inches makes the chair unusable for me. So what am I to do? I don't have room under my desk to permanently place something that I can put my feet on. I don't have a car large enough to bring it back to Staples which is why I had it delivered. I have no desire to TRY to un-assemble it and put it back in the box which is too large to get in my car anyway. I'm irate.
The chair is so great it was easy to put together which was awesome and it’s so comfortable now I can play my game without ruining my office chair. Thank you staple.
This is the perfect chair for any person 6” or taller. The chair is very comfortable and the adjustable lumbar and neck pillow are are higher plus. Very easy to put together and well built.
