While the armrests are adjustable both up -and-down and swivel right or left to match arm angle at keyboard and mouse they have almost no padding. I got it for my wife. The headrest and lumbar pad are great and can be adjusted to fit. That's great. What's not too good is the flexibility of the back & forth rocking--way too stiff. The back has to be at 30-40 degrees before rocking back becomes easy. Staples has a similar chair without the neck and lumbar pads. The armrests can be moved out of the way but they cannot be adjusted up or down or sideways. The rocking is great. The tension can be adjusted or locked but I just let it fly free. I like the lower bucket of the Vortex gaming chair. Higher buckets tend to cut off circulation. The perfect chair would be a hybrid of these two chairs.

This gaming chair is way more comfortable than my old one plus it looks nice. Only complaint is in installing the side covers. Really small screws that are almost impossible to install.

I have to sit for several hours a day at work and bought this chair in a different color a few months ago because it was advertised as being good for longer periods of sitting than a regular office chair. Yes even the fancy ones had shorter average times. My back has been hurting much less - I have some injuries so 0% pain is not in the cards even if I sit on a cloud - and the adjustable pillows are awesome. I wound up giving my husband the first chair after some minor damage occurred and used the warranty repayment to purchase this color for myself. Would definitely recommend if you're at a computer. I'm not much for gaming so I can't speak to how well it does for that but I imagine you would not be disappointed in that scenario either.

We bought 3 (2 white 1 blue) for our office. We have long days and these are so comfortable! Love the adjustable back support! A little stiff at first but by day 2 it already begins to form to the individual. Going on 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. A must for those long days when the chair becomes an extension of you!
