This chair was easy to build the perfect height and just what I was looking for! If I had one complaint that I did not know about It would be that the front of the cushion where the back of your knees are is not very supportive. And one complaint that I did know about was that the arms are not movable. I did purchase the chair knowing that but it would be amazing if this company made the same chair with adjustable arms . Other than that this chair is perfect
Overall it is a good tall stool/chairr and would be an automatic five stars if it did not tilt forward. Be aware that it is indeed a tall seat it is not made for a typical desk. I converted a drafting table to use as my desk. I added a suspended slide tray for my keyboard and mouse. Using a drafting table allows me to stand or sit without the need to spend a few hundred for a lift desk. This stool/chair is tall and comfortable. But- (I have seen this in other reviews)- Whenever I sit the seat tilts forward. This is very uncomfortable and very annoying to continually try to concentrate on work while trying to balance the entire time I am sitting. After being totally disgusted I decided to put shims under the front bolts between the chair base and seat. The shims are approx. 1/4" thick. You can easily see the shims on my pic. I will give it some time to see if the chair continues to NOT tilt forward any longer. If necessary I will change the 1/4" shims for a 3/8" shims. (And I will shape them to fit and be hidden once I am satisfied that the chair is no longer tilting forward.
Most chairs don't have the seating Hight this one has. If your looking for a higher setting level then this chair is the one for you. Good build quality also!
The drafting stool is quite comfortable. A little high for my short legs to jump up onto but once there l can work without thinking about the chair. Which is a good thing.
The chairs tilts you forward making it uncomfortalb to sit in. The lowest seat height is very high making it difficult to get into. Just a strange drafting stool.
