I am really happy with this chair. I have been looking for a chair like the Essentials drafting chair for the past few month and I am glad I purchased this chair. The chair is very comfortable to sit in and the mesh back keeps my back cool.

I needed a higher chair (countertop height) for my Covid home office set-up and I opted for this one which happened to be on sale to boot. Set up was so easy and I love it. All day comfort. Love the foot rest as well. I highly recommend.

Got this for a backup as I get used to my standing desk again. The seat itself is comfortable enough ... when you can finally get into it. The step ring is weakly clamped to the base and tilts when you step up on it to get into the chair. Which makes the high seat position difficult to get into easily. It's also very thin which makes it rather painful to use unless you are wearing thick-soled shoes. I'm grateful that I'm using it on a carpeted floor because it only moves a couple of inches while I'm climbing into the chair. I'm sure that if it was on wood or tile it'd roll a good way from where I started before I was finally seated. On balance the chair is worth the price. But it leaves a bit to be desired for a daily high-seated task chair.
