I have been sitting on the Union & Scale chair for about a week and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It is a beautifully designed chair that looks sleek and elegant at my desk. The adjustments are easy to use to get the right ergonomic fit for my keyboard and computer screen. I can sit comfortably for hours though I don’t recommend people doing that! The instructions for putting the chair together were simple and clear. There are about three steps but because the seat is hefty you may want to have another person holding it while you put it together. I purchased the chair on sale but even at the regular price I feel this is a great value.

The chair is uncomfortable. The lumbar support is a hard piece of plastic that cuts into your lower back. There is no give at all with the lumbar support. The arms are too far forward and too far apart even with the adjustment as far in as it can go. The arms are also hard plastic with no padding.

Easy to assemble. Plenty of adjustable bits to get it just right. Seat cushion is comfortable. As a short person (5'2") I don't have a problem with the height of the seat back.

Well designed comfortable and easy to assemble (thank god!). One arm was defective but there was a phone number to call for help which they answered right away without a lot of auto prompts and they sent a replacement part right away. (In the end I decided I preferred it without the arms which you can just not assemble). Very friendly and helpful.
