pretty good quality though the connection of the chair to the base allows a small amount of movement even when new so not top-level quality. not a big deal but not a "5-star" piece of furniture either.
The build quality of this chair is good for the price. It is solid and attractive in a subdued way. The ergonomics could be better for me though—especially the arms which sit a bit wider than I would like and can’t be adjusted horizontally. I am a pretty average size person and it seems like the chair was designed more for larger people with bigger frames. If the chair was either a little less wide or had more adjustability I might give it five stars. As it is I would definitely not recommend this chair for smaller people.
Uncomfortable and keeps sliding me to the front of the seat wheels either too soft or too small for tile floors.

Whatever the manufacturer thinks is "lumbar support" is nothing but a hard plastic bar that catches you in the most uncomfortable parts of your back poking into your spine. There MUST be better products out there and I'm going to search for them.
Replacing a fabulous (28 year old) chair which had failing hydraulics this is pretty comfortable. Very easy to assemble and adjust (seat height lumbar tilt and arm rests). Only drawback compared to my (very expensive) old chair: the armrests adjust vertically and spread out but do not adjust to be closer to my body. The seat is fully cushioned and the back is great. The casters are almost too movable on my wood office floor. Worth every penny.
