The chair was easy to build headrest was probably the only part I took longer on. Still doable with one person. Pros: Just the right stiffness on the mesh material. Feels sturdy. Packaged good. I didn’t know how much a headrest would help while gaming. Definitely take the time to throw it on. Neutrals: Now I understand that I got the bigger version of this chair that was a personal preference as I wanted it to support more weight if needed (I’m 165lbs). So If you are on the shorter side & plan on swapping to rubber wheels it might be too tall for you. I’m 5’6 and can barely rest my legs on ground with my swapped wheels. This is also a problem for the headrest as I have it set to the lowest setting and it sits just right. Not deal breakers though. Backrest was adjusted as forward as possible I still added my old lumbar support just so my legs can be pushed further out. Would probably be a problem if I didn’t have it. Other than that so far so good for a $150 chair.
Good chair over all. The seat is PAINFUL over time

The Hyken is not for big or tall people. Over 5"9-"10 you wont fit. It has the most uncomfortable (painful) mesh seat. The foam pad at the front cuts into you legs and the mesh creates stress points on your backside. On the other hand the synchro-tilt mesh back and lumbar is great It's the only reason i gave it 2 stars. But the seat was a deal breaker. if they replaced the mesh seat it'd be worth it.
My old desk chair bit the dust when it started shedding its top layer of fake leather and I was constantly vacumming up its detritus. Now I own this wonderful chair that serves me well in comfort size and style. No shedding materials have left me with a cleaner house. What is not to like? Highly recommended to you if you need a good chair.
The tilt adjustment doesn't seem to work no matter how I set the tension knob the tilt tension doesn't seem to change at all. The tilt locking mechanism is cheap and flaky it only works when upright and sometimes it engages for no reason. The headrest wouldn't install properly due to a plastic burr which I had to file down with a file. And the chair is not very comfortable. Overall very poor quality for the price.
After about an hour my legs hurt and then fall asleep. The front edge of the chair is cutting off the blood circulation in my leg. A seat slide adjustment would be a bonus. It's only been a week. Maybe the chair needs to be broken in.
