I first saw this chair at Staples last fall tried out the display model and could tell right away that it was far far more comfortable than the office chair I'd been using for years. I waited until there was a sale going on and went back and purchased the Dexley chair and love it just as much as I thought I would. I have short legs and the way the seat on this chair curves downward on the front edge rather than curving upward as so many others do prevents the discomfort I experienced in the back of my legs with my old chair. The Dexley chair also offers excellent lumbar support and I love the headrest too. All in all a great chair!
Two and a half weeks in this task chair creaks like crazy. Sit down creeeeaaaaak. Lean back creeaaak. Same happens when you readjust your position or put some weight on the armrests. Normally I wouldn't mind this but this is terrible if you're with roommates and you're trying to finish a paper in the night. I'm planning on grabbing WD40 next time I head out take this thing apart again and try seeing if it actually helps by applying to the metal parts and joints. On the other side this is a great chair! It's comfortable extremely comfortable. The neck rest and lumbar support are fantastic. As a taller person (6'2") the neck rest can be adjusted to a perfect height and it helps to remind me about posture. But the noise! Ugh the noise! How am I supposed to work at night like this!? This thing is going to change my sleep schedule.
I work from home and am at my desk for 8-10 hours per day. This chair is more comfortable and helps me to sit more upright than other similar chairs. I like the mesh seat better than a padded seat which I had been using for the past 2+ years. My only complaint would be that I would like the arm rests to go slightly lower. Otherwise nice chair especially for the price.
