I thought it was going to cumbersome to put together but it wasn’t at all. It is very comfortable and keeps my posture straight. If you’re looking for a chair this is it.
It’s fairly comfortable for me (5’8” 160lbs) and provides the necessary support to sit for at least 1 hr at a time. However lacks adjustments necessary for targeted areas. You can only raise or lower the lumbar but it does not protrude enough or go down far enough enough for me to really benefit. The arm rests are too far apart and are in as far as they can get. Also there is no forward tilt option to allow for a more upright position like I have on my HM at work. The build quality is also fairly cheap. The mesh does not feel like it will hold up so I’m glad it comes with a long warranty. The back plastic part that covers the spine of the chair has already completely broken off and is just hanging there - I’ll be filing warranty for this but it’s literally only a few weeks old and I stand at least 50% of the day. Also the casters are cheap and not great at all for wood floors. I needed a new chair due to WFH and this was a cheap alternative to my HM.
comfortable for long periods. the back is nice & cool in the heat of summer. For winter just drape an attractive fleece throw over the whole thing - instant heat & hygge boost.

I assembled this myself. Directions were precise and they package each piece for each stage of construction separately. No room for TLDR here. No screwing with the wrong screw because they all look the same and Nice Pictures! Having put office chairs together before I kept thinking "ok here comes the tough part." Never really got there though a few possible gotchas if you are like I am blond when I'm not gray. For those embarking on this adventure: 1) don't break down the big box it comes in until after you are finished. Use it to hold the seat while you fasten the back on. 2) If you have arthritic thumbs make sure you have a handy allen wrench set with a comfort handle (good for any furniture assembly). 3) The casters really don't want to seat completely at first. Be firm. Make them fit all they way in or you'll tip over later when you want to set the seat by sitting on it (alliteration is extra). 4) When attaching the optional head rest set the chair on its side. Screwing things in upside down is not only screwy (lefty loosey and righty tighty get really confusing) but if you drop a screw or an allen wrench the chair back will eat them. I had to retrieve both from jaws of that beast during my trials. However I'm seated comfortably now and hope (no I insist!) this will make my work day more cheerful. Do buy Do build. And enjoy!
This is a cheap chair that has broken in less than 6 months - the mesh has torn the upright support collapsed. Will not buy furniture from Staples again.
