The tilt adjustment doesn't seem to work no matter how I set the tension knob the tilt tension doesn't seem to change at all. The tilt locking mechanism is cheap and flaky it only works when upright and sometimes it engages for no reason. The headrest wouldn't install properly due to a plastic burr which I had to file down with a file. And the chair is not very comfortable. Overall very poor quality for the price.

The date of manufacture for this chair is 01Nov2021. So it was already old before I assembled it. After assembly the chair though admittedly comfortable was locked in the lowest position and the height adjustment was nonfunctional. Manufacturer promises to send replacement part in a month or so.

When I first got this chair it was ok. I chose it because I needed a quick and less expensive replacement at the time. It wasn't the best but it worked for the immediate need. Now a year later and my back feels broken when I sit in this all day I don't think whatever lumbar may have been working is working anymore. As well the hydraulics seem to be breaking because when I come to my desk in the morning my chair is at low level and I have to raise it. (maybe I have a ghost). I am back to searching for a replacement. This time I will take more time and spend more money on the chair so I don't have to buy one every couple of years.

Chair was not difficult to assemble using the UTube video. Attaching the headrest was a challenge due to positioning. That said the assembled chair is both comfortable and supportive. Thank you Union & Scale.
