Chair needs to be assembled (unless you want to pay for assembly) but the process is pretty easy. No special tools required -- allen wrench provided. Probably want to have an extra pair of hands to help hold things. Everything fit great. Comfortable chair to sit in. No issues or complaints.

After test sitting the chair in the local store (very important as the furniture needs to fit the individual needs or you have the run around with returning) i ordered it online as the local store was out of stock. Ordering experience was easy chair was delivered as promised next day. Assembly was quick with 30 minutes following the thorough assembly instructions. After using the chair for a week now i am satisfied with it. While the arm rest can be adjusted in height easily by pressing a button changes in width require the use of an Allen wrench that was part of the delivery. Not really an issue but should be mentioned here. The only thing i have identified so far that annoys me is that the head rest seems to be very flimsy. It does not stay in place very well once adjusted and cannot be fixed to the desired position. Overall this furniture fits my needs and meets my expectations. i would buy it again.

Chair was packaged very well. The look of the chair is top notch professional. It is very comfortable. The arm padding is softer than the Hyken. Though it doesnt have stepped recliner its only straight or lay back 2-steps unlike the hyken which gives you 3 steps to lay back and lock. The build was very easy only requiring 3 types of bolts and each is color coded with thread lockers. Initially the mesh seat gave some resistance but quickly within 2- days it became more pliable. Before I had a $50 foam mesh back chair from another retail store and after 2-3 hours sitting it was giving me back problems and had to lay down. I have sat in this new chair and have not had such problems I even took a nap on it laying back it was so comfortable. In the future I will buy thrid party polyurathane wheels as with these basic wheels will usually get clogged and dirty within 6 months. BUt that is not a boon on the chair. This is a must buy chiar for comfort and long stretches at the computer or desk setting.
