I gave this chair a try but returned it for a gaming chair that is much nicer for the same price. It’s just not that comfortable and even when the back is locked in the upright position it still moves a half an inch or so. I would not recommend this chair.
As many people are switching to work from home for the foreseeable future I needed to replace my old office/computer chair with something I could spend more time on. I randomly walked into the staples store and came across this chair. I love how the mesh bottom feels after sitting in it for a 9-11 hour work shift. The back is also very comfortable. The head-rest is good for leaning back but outside of that I don't find much use for it. Overall I absolutely love this chair for the price.
I had a leather home office chair that I had been using for months but with the constant use and recent humidity & high temps I found the chair getting sticky and uncomfortable. The soft leather was good for short periods but not the full work week I was putting it through. The Dexley Mesh is more comfortable has more give and does not tire me out. The adjustable lumbar support is a nice benefit as is the headrest when you want to lean back and stretch out for just a bit.
Great comfortable chair at a very reasonable price. The sale really made this choice obvious. It has many features that higher priced chairs come with at a significantly lower price. The mesh feels like a good quality mesh and appears like it will last. The same applies t the adjustable arm rests the frame and casters. I am 5'11 and weigh 250 lbs. and this chair feels solid and provides support from the behind the knee all the way up to the head. The only gripes I have is (1) the lumbar support does not stay in place under my weight; and (2) the headrest also moves under weight. However with respect to the lumbar support I learned that the support I needed was a little lower in the back area and where it settled was where it provided the most support and comfort for me. The headrest also moved under heavy pressure. I don't use it very often but when I do I just rest my head carefully so it tays put. Though limited you can adjust the height and position of the headrest.
This chair was purchased to replace a bonded leather executive style Big & Tall chair on which the bonded leather was flaking off and had become unsightly. I was determined not to purchase another bonded leather chair for that reason. I work from home and sit in the chair 8 or more hours a day so I needed something comfortable. The chair is very comfortable and the seat is wide so it doesn't hit my hips. It was very easy to assemble. I was impressed that all the parts were sealed in individual bags to correspond with the printed instructions - for example step four required 4 screws and the bag was labeled 4 - B as it was part B that used the screws. The only tool required was an Allen wrench which came with it. The seat height is adjustable which is pretty standard but the arms are also adjustable which was nice as was the neck support and the lumbar support. An excellent price as I bought it on sale.
I bought this for my son who is starting college. We put it together (pretty easily) to try it out before he left. Now his younger brother is desperately hoping we get another one to use for home as his high school classes are online this year. My boys are fairly tall (over 6 feet) and they liked the scale of this chair. I’m only 5’3 and the head rest is a little tall for me but the chair size is fine. It feels like it has good lumbar support and the open design facilitates great airflow (which has been helpful in our recent heatwave).
