We have only been using this chair for about 2 weeks but it is already so creamy we are thinking about returning it. Our weight is normal and the chairs seems not to be able to handle the 140 ponds. Very disappointing.
The back and flat of the char is flexible but firm mesh which is comfortable and does not flatten over time leaving you with sitting on a flat metal plate. Overall it’s a great buy.
I really wanted to like this chair as I've always wanted a mesh chair for improved ventilation which this does well. That said due to it being a mesh chair you have to fit in it perfectly for it to be comfortable. The mesh stretched between hard plastic components so if you are a little bigger than normal (I'm 6'4" and 250 pounds) you end up feeling the hard plastic supports. I actually started putting my wallet in my front pocket hoping I'd be comfortable for longer than 10 minutes (on the plus side I am getting up from the computer much more often now so I guess there is a health aspect to it). I would have given it one star due to my disappointment but the chair is well-made and likely comfortable for normal-sized people so I gave it three stars. I have two more weeks to return it and keep hoping it will magically become more comfortable but I have my doubts.
Took abt 30 mins to unpack and assemble. Only problem is that the back cover part was broken. I thought it was loose and just needed to be snapped into place but nope. It was broken in a few places. Customer service was willing to process a replacement or an adjustment. The idea of disassembling packing returning unpacking and reassembling (and hoping nothing is broken) didn't seem like fun. So I went with the price adjustment. I'll try to glue the broken piece back in place. If it doesn't hold then I'll live with the industrial look. Apart from that the chair is comfortable and feels sturdy.
